Home care support services assist people who need help and prefer to stay in the familiar environment of their own home. The VNA cares for people of all ages in Douglas County and surrounding areas.
VNA provides comprehensive home health care by registered or licensed professional personnel and by certified para-professionals.
Care is given without regard to race, color, religion, gender, disability, communicable disease, national origin, ancestry or age.
VNA is a not-for-profit agency governed by a voluntary board of directors.
Many services in Douglas County are available to patients based on need rather than ability to pay. This is possible through funds from county government, United Way of Douglas County and individual donations.
Memorials and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

HCSS services
Long Term Care Aides- Assist client with personal hygiene and exercise (hourly)
Private Home Care Aides- Assist with personal hygiene, exercise and Homemaking (2 hours or more per day)
Companions- Assist with safety monitoring, meal preparation housekeeping and errands (2 hours or more per day)
Wellness Monitoring- RN/LPN to monitor nutritional status, medication compliance, general physical health, blood pressure and pulse (as needed)
Private Duty LPN- Skilled nursing care (2 hours or more per day)
LPN- LPN to set up medications and/or provide nail care (as needed)
